( Hu-wow! Another post…and so soon? Ye gods! - Fine, the WoW servers are down again so I'm blogging. Sigh)
Christmas is just a few days away so what better excuse to write about random things I would like to have. Not that I really need a holiday to give me reason to talk about my gadget lust but indulge me nonetheless. These are a few things I found over the internet that I find cool, but of course, cool as defined by my geeky sensibilities.
Since the boyfriend and I play World of Warcraft on our trusty iBooks, we have been contemplating on getting an external keyboard to save the letters "w", "a", "s" and "d" from being abused. We initially wanted to get the Limited Edition World of Warcraft keyboard from Ideazon but apparently, it only works for the PC. So I looked around and saw this.

It has a foldable cover to help prevent stains, spills and whatnot. Though I highly doubt that they have a model with customizable macro keys for maximum gaming, I have to give credit to Hello Kitty. Yes, I am such a girly girl that way. And I don't think I can ever convince the boyfriend to use one of these things but that's fine because I don't even intend to ask him to consider this.
Still on WoW, I want this mug. Because I need more mana to unleash my fiery Immolate wrath on those who deserve it. Lol.

And finally, this is for all the internet addicts like me. I love how this shirt just screams "GEEK!" but is actually quite useful. It's a shirt that detects WiFi signal, both 802.11b and 802.11g. So I don't have to boot up KissMac or use the built in Airport on the iBook. I can just walk around and the shirt will light up when I am in a hot spot. It is battery operated by the way.

And it's from ThinkGeek and I love ThinkGeek. I've always had a hard time buying gifts for the boyfriend so I was really excited when I got him this Midas Remote Control Watch for his birthday. We had such a hoot trying to change channels of the TVs in local restaurants. There was even a time he kept messing with the TV controls while his brother was trying to play Xbox 360. The brother was getting pissed with how the TV was acting up and it took him quite a while to realize that my boyfriend was actually controlling the TV from his watch. Ah, little joys.
