I neglected this blog for a long time. One, I was busy with my World of Warcraft blog. Two, in order to update my posts, I had to switch to Firefox. I like using Firefox, but I use Safari more. Today though, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that I can now update using Safari. I might just go back to updating this blog then.
For today’s random dose of geek, I bring you a gift suggestion for your boyfriend. He must be very special though since it doesn’t come cheap. Also, he will have to share your sense of humor to wear this in public.
Can you think of anyone who would wear this in public? (more…)
If you ask me where I’ll be over the weekend, it’ll be at the same place where I was last week and chances are, you’ll catch me there again next week.
It has been a staple of sorts that weekends are usually spent in Katipunan with friends where we stay up all night playing LAN games. We went through this whole DoTA obsession where I even bought and installed Frozen Throne on my computer so that I could practice and play better. We would also play Counter Strike (and sometimes I’d pwn ‘em all, haha), Quake and Rainbow Six. This went on for months, and we never got tired of playing. For me, what I enjoy most is the company. It’s such a hoot hearing the boys trash talk each other ("Camper!" "Leaver!" "Head shot!") and I would just laugh all night. That’s how I usually spend my weekend. Every now and then there would be some alcohol mixed in the evening (hmmm…ice cold Red Horse) but a good time was always a staple.
Lately, we’ve moved on to the next game. We’ve managed to convince a majority of the group to play World of Warcraft instead so that’s what we’ve been playing these past few months. Their resident healbot is yours truly, in case you want to know.
Ok, so I cheated. I’m talking about WoW again.
Ya, so I’ve been away for awhile. I made a post before with some YouTube videos and that just screwed up the entire layout altogether. After that, I just got annoyed and left this blog. I’ve been busy with another blog I started called List of Emotes that’s essentially all about my World of Warcraft gaming. Yes, that still takes up most of my time.
But I do intend to ressurect this blog. While most of my posts about gadgets I lust for may somehow be to connected to World of Warcraft, it doesn’t change the fact that I would rather buy 1GB ram for my laptop than buy expensive shoes. Lol.
Will update again this week. I finally got my Toki Doki iSkin for my iPod video. Weee! XD
( Hu-wow! Another post…and so soon? Ye gods! - Fine, the WoW servers are down again so I'm blogging. Sigh)
Christmas is just a few days away so what better excuse to write about random things I would like to have. Not that I really need a holiday to give me reason to talk about my gadget lust but indulge me nonetheless. These are a few things I found over the internet that I find cool, but of course, cool as defined by my geeky sensibilities.
Since the boyfriend and I play World of Warcraft on our trusty iBooks, we have been contemplating on getting an external keyboard to save the letters "w", "a", "s" and "d" from being abused. We initially wanted to get the Limited Edition World of Warcraft keyboard from Ideazon but apparently, it only works for the PC. So I looked around and saw this.

It has a foldable cover to help prevent stains, spills and whatnot. Though I highly doubt that they have a model with customizable macro keys for maximum gaming, I have to give credit to Hello Kitty. Yes, I am such a girly girl that way. And I don't think I can ever convince the boyfriend to use one of these things but that's fine because I don't even intend to ask him to consider this.
Still on WoW, I want this mug. Because I need more mana to unleash my fiery Immolate wrath on those who deserve it. Lol.

And finally, this is for all the internet addicts like me. I love how this shirt just screams "GEEK!" but is actually quite useful. It's a shirt that detects WiFi signal, both 802.11b and 802.11g. So I don't have to boot up KissMac or use the built in Airport on the iBook. I can just walk around and the shirt will light up when I am in a hot spot. It is battery operated by the way.

And it's from ThinkGeek and I love ThinkGeek. I've always had a hard time buying gifts for the boyfriend so I was really excited when I got him this Midas Remote Control Watch for his birthday. We had such a hoot trying to change channels of the TVs in local restaurants. There was even a time he kept messing with the TV controls while his brother was trying to play Xbox 360. The brother was getting pissed with how the TV was acting up and it took him quite a while to realize that my boyfriend was actually controlling the TV from his watch. Ah, little joys.
Okay, so I'm a bad blogger. I opened this account and managed to *haphazardly* update with two posts. There are actually a number of *legit* reasons why I haven't updated in a while.
1. I would usually see a gadget that I would like to blog about but then forget about it. Yeah, maybe that's laziness too.
2. I.ph does not want to play nice with my Safari browser which I mainly use. Most of my bookmarked items are on Safari so it's a little annoying to have to fire up the Firefox browser. Which is really NOT that big a deal, I admit. So yeah, maybe that's laziness too.
3. I'll be starting my new job soon so I've been trying to enjoy life as a bum to the fullest. That means staying up really late, waking up late in the afternoon and basically just trying to avoid being productive in any way. But yeah, that could also be laziness too.
4. And finally, probably the real reason why I have been on hiatus, is this.

I just got back from Baguio. Before I left, I signed up for this account. Now that I'm back, find myself staring at it and wondering what to do next.
See, I just installed the updated Journler. It's pretty much the same offline blog editor I fell inlove with, only with more features. I wanted to use that to make posts. But somehow, I can't. At least, I still haven't figured it out.
So here I am, attempting to post via my Firefox browser. But I have to be ready to leave in a few minutes for band rehearsals and I still have to put song lyrics into my iPod. Yebah.
There's a glimpse of my life for you my dear readers (yes, all 2 of you. Seriously) God forbid I actually figure out how to post on this blog using Journler and unleash more verbal diarrhea. Awesome-ness.
